i felt a little silly setting up a private group on facebook called "allison and jonathan hope to adopt" but i felt some kind of prompting that this might bring us a little closer to finding the right birth parents for us. people know people. people know people who need help. hopefully our friends will think of us next time an unexpected pregnancy touches the life of someone they care about.i thought it was really sweet the way jonathan encouraged me. neither one of us has ever invited any of our friends to join any other facebook group. the responses have been heart warming. i am continually amazed at how many have adopted or want to adopt.
for now we are trying to be the best parent we can be. we trust God and His great plan of happiness.
